3 INGREDIENT Strawberry Bread

** You can substitute chocolate chips for the strawberries and you may use Greek yogurt instead of bananas if you have allergies **

Servings: 8-10 crumpets

INGREDIENTS

2 cups Self-Rising Flour

4 very ripe large bananas (1 1/4 cups)

3/4 cup strawberries (fresh and dry), chopped

** To make your own self rising flour just use this basic formula: For every 1 cup of all-purpose flour (or gluten free flour), add 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon fine salt. Whisk the ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl and store your self-rising flour in an airtight container in the pantry.

Butter, Cream cheese, or Peanut butter

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine self-rising flour and mashed bananas. Mix very well with a spatula then fold in your chopped strawberries. You don’t want to smash your berries. The dough will be very sticky. If you have very large bananas you can add another 1/4 cup of flour.

  2. Line your air fryer tray or baking sheet with parchment paper AND grease with nonstick spray. Preheat to 350 degrees F.

  3. Divide the dough into 8 -10 scoops using a melon scooper. You can also use an ice cream scoop and make 4-6 large bread rounds.

  4. Air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 12-15 minutes (on the middle rack if using an oven shaped air fryer) or bake in oven for 20-24 minutes or until golden brown on the tops.

  5. Remove from the air fryer and let cool. Slice and enjoy or place in the toaster and serve with cream cheese.
