How to Make Ice Cream Bark

Ice Cream Bark

What you need:

Half sheet pan

Parchment paper

1 1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate, melted (About 1 1/2 bags of chips)

Ingredients by Version:

Classic

(1) package Trader Joe’s Mini Hold the Cones

Maraschino cherries, patted dry

1/4 cup salted nuts, chopped

Rainbow sprinkles

One waffle cone, smashed

Mint Chip

2-3 Mint Chip Oreo Ice Cream Sandwiches

6 Thin Mint Oreos

10 Chocolate Mints, chopped

Strawberry Shortcake

1 1/4 cups melted white chocolate

1 package Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream Cones, sliced in half lengthwise

1 cup freeze dried strawberries

1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries

Snickers Ice Cream Bark

4 Snickers Ice Cream Bars, chopped into 1” slices

1 regular Snickers, sliced

1/4 cup salted peanuts, chopped

Magic Shell Caramel Sauce

Directions

  1. Melt your chocolate in the microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted. Once melted, pour onto a parchment lined 1/2 baking sheet. Let cool for 3-4 minutes until it’s room temperature but not hard. Prepare your cones.

  2. Cut all your mini ice cream cones in half (length wise) and place ice cream side down into the melted chocolate. Sprinkle with nuts, sprinkles, and more waffle cone (or desired toppings) and place back into freezer for 1-2 hours.

  3. Remove from freezer, break and serve! If making ahead for a party, break and place into individual bags and place on ice in a cooler or place back in freezer.
