Halloween Crispy Air Fryer Fries

Halloween Crispy Air Fryer Fries

Ingredients

3 large russet potatoes

2-3 tablespoons olive oil

Kosher salt and pepper, to taste

** I used TJ Dill pickle seasoning and Lawry’s seasoning as well (optional)

Directions

  1. Using a mandolin or sharp knife, slice the potatoes into round discs. Use a one inch pumpkin cutter or the end of a piping tip to punch out the potato and make your fry faces.

  2. Place all your fries in an ice water bath for one hour. This will remove any excess starch and will help the fries crisp up more in the oven or air fryer.

  3. Preheat oven or air fryer to 375 degrees F.

  4. Remove the potatoes from the ice bath and pat completely dry with a paper towel.

  5. Toss with olive oil, kosher salt and any other desired seasonings.

  6. Add fries to air fryer or oven, making sure they are not stacked. Bake 15-20 minutes, until crispy and golden brown. Serve hot. Enjoy!
