Fringe it! I love, love, love, love, love these ombre fringe necklaces. These bright necklaces are perfect for spring and did I mention so beyond super easy peasy to make? Well they are. I made these last week on Home and Family on the Hallmark Channel (weekdays 10am/9c) If you missed the episode you can srcoll down for the tutorial. 

DIY Fringe Necklaces

What you need
Necklace chain with clasp
Epoxy 6000
Fringe trim or metal fringe
Fabric scissors

Directions
1. Lay out your fringe and using a ruler determine how long you want your fringe to be. I usually make my fringe 7" (it will hang - see the pics).

2. Cut the bottom thread off your trim. It's manufactured this way to stay on the roll but if you just cut along the bottom you will release all the fringe pieces. Set aside.

3. Lay out your chain link necklace on something you don't mind getting a little glue on and measure from end to center so you know exactly where your fringe will be placed.

4. Glue along the center of the backside of the fringe and place the fringe down in the middle of the chain gently. Run your finger across the top of the fringe making sure it's perfectly placed on the necklace. Let dry for 1 hour. Completely dry overnight.

5. If making the chain link fringe you will need to buy chain fringe in the jewelry aisle. Using jump hooks, simply attach the chain to your existing necklace with needle nose pliers and jump hooks.

TIP: Make sure your necklace chain is completely flat and all links are facing the same direction when gluing so it hangs correctly when it's dry.
