6 Ingredient Summer Peach Tart
Ingredients
2 peaches
1 tbs lemon juice
3 tbs extra fine sugar
1 preface pie crust
1 egg
Powdered Sugar
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
2. Unfold the pre-made pie sheet on a lightly floured surface. Roll the pastry into the shape of your tart pan and press down in pan.
3. Using a fork prick the pastry all over to avoid air bubbles.
4. Toss sliced peaches in 1 Tbs lemon juice and three Tbs extra fine sugar.
5. Arrange the peach slices in rows over the pastry. Beat an egg with a teaspoon of water and brush over the edges of the crust. Dot with butter if desired.
6. Bake for 20-24 minutes, until pastry is lightly browned, and fruit starts to brown. Rotate pan once during baking.
7. Remove tart from oven, let cool then dust with powdered sugar. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
