Lit’l Skeleton Smokies

Ingredients

1 package of Lit’l Smokies

2 packages of Crescent Dough

Candy eyes, optional (they have no taste)

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Cut your crescent dough into 1/2” strips and carefully cover the lit’l smokies. Press one Lit’l smokie into each cavity and place silicone molds on a baking sheet for easy transfer.

  3. Bake for 8 minutes then remove from oven and press down each smokie with a spatula or the back of a wooden spoon so the dough slightly flattens out and fills the mold. This will ensure the hot dough takes on the skull shape. Bake once more for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool for five minutes then pop out of the mold.

  4. Add the candy eyes immediately out of the mold so they “stick” to the lit’l smokies. Serve with ketchup and mustard.
