Back-to-school Pretzels
There is something so nostalgic about going back to school. I loved the entire process. I now like to make it special for my own kids. We always prepare the week before and lay out all the school supplies the night before. These Pretzel Pencils and Paper Pretzels for Back-to-School are easy to make and fun for the kids.

Directions
Melt your white chocolate and yellow oil based food coloring (or yellow candy melts) in a tall clear glass. Melt at 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted. Dip each pretzel rod all the way into the yellow chocolate and place on a parchment lined tray to harden.
Once the yellow chocolate has hardened, dip one yellow end directly into the melted pink chocolate, only about 1”. Place on parchment paper again to harden or pop into the fridge for 30 minutes.
Once chocolate covered pretzels have fully hardened, roll out a small piece of silver fondant and use a knife to cut 1/2” wide x 1” strips. Roll one strip around the bottom base of the pink chocolate so it resembles a pencil.
To make the mini white paper pencils, use a piping bag fitted with a small round tip (or a ziplock bag) and melted blue chocolate. Pipe blue lines onto the mini white fudge pretzels and let harden on parchment paper.
